Gordon Sondland had not even finished his testimony on Wednesday before it was being called the “John Dean moment” of the President Trump impeachment drama. With the presidency on the line, a once-trusted lieutenant pointed the finger at Mr. Trump in a proceeding that could lead to Watergate-style charges of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Even John Dean thought it was a bit of a John Dean moment for Mr. Sondland, the million-dollar Trump donor turned ambassador to the European Union. “He decided to put the truth over party and president, because the president really can’t be pleased with it,” Mr. Dean said in an interview after the hearing. “It’s going to change the dynamics of the proceedings.”

My own opinion is that Sondland didn’t do a full John Dean, but that could well come. While he explicitly stated that there was a quid pro quo (shxt show) and all top officials knew it (so John Dean-ish), he also said that he didn’t hear it directly from Trump’s mouth. I have some difficulty believing that, and Sondland may have calculated that Trump will never say he told him that, so Sondland could be safe from perjury.

Sondland came across as another clownish hotelier, like Trump, and his partial John Dean may well be a warning to Trump in the Mafia-style they both clearly know. Be careful, or I will talk some more. Leave me alone, and we may both survive. Some think that in Sondland, Trump may finally have met his match - in many respects.

Trump himself and all his sycophants (a.k.a. Axxx-kissers) in the GOP and Fox News are pounding away on the fact that Sondland never heard “I want a quid pro quo” from Trump’s mouth, and so Trump is innocent. If that is their logic, then the GOP and Fox should sincerely apologize to Hitler for how they have wronged him. Nobody ever heard Hitler say “Murder the Jews”.  Clearly, he was innocent. He was blamed for things that were done by unelected bureaucrats. 

Like Angel Trump, with the halo around his axxx, as Sondland may have put it. Many US Presidents certainly used 4 letter words now and then - but Sondland confirmed that he and Trump mainly talk in such language. Just some more stench in the White House

  Here is a partial list of “solutions” proposed by GQP Senators and reps, Fox News pundits, and other rightwing, soulless axxholes yesterday, each followed by my comments in brackets. - Give children bullet-proof backpacks. 1 Senator even suggested parents should buy children those instead of toys.  (They don’t wear backpacks in school. Understanding Talibangelicals

  In his big NBC interview shown yesterday, Dotard said it was a “big mistake” for DeathSantis to sign a 6 week abortion ban.
